When you install Cubase, a few common instrument definitions are already set up for you and ready to use.
Planet-Groove offers several additional instrument definitions for a lot of synths. Each instrument definition is stored in a file you can edit with any text editor. These files have the .txt file extention.
Just place the .txt file in your cubase directory under \scripts\patchnames
